Gwinnett County ranks high when comes to public health, according to an analysis by the Atlanta Regional Commission(ARC).Â
Gwinnet County ranks fourth when it comes to health outcomes and eighth when it comes to health factors. The ARC analysis is based on a recently released County Health Rankings report by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.Â

Health outcomes are how long people live, and how healthy people feel while alive. Health factors are health behaviors, clinical care, social and economic and physical environment factors.
In ARC's 20-county metro area, Forsyth County ranked No. 1 in health outcomes, and Fayette County rank No. 1 in health factors.
