Work Continues On Peachtree Corners' Multi-Use Trails
By the end of the year, residents and those who work nearby may be able to enjoy a stroll around a portion of Technology Park Lake.

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — If Mother Nature cooperates, by the end of the year, residents and those who work nearby will be able to enjoy a leisurely stroll around a portion of Technology Park Lake.
The 15-acre lake is located behind the office buildings fronting Technology Parkway and Technology Parkway South. Work is expected to begin this fall and barring weather delays should be complete by the end of the year.
Measuring just over 1/3 of a mile, the new portion of the trail will connect to the existing multi-use trail along Technology Parkway and Technology Parkway South creating a loop. The new section of the trail consists of a 12-foot concrete greenway, a precast concrete boardwalk and three pedestrian plazas. The plazas will serve as pleasant resting spots along the trail and will include granite seat walls and trash receptacles. The plans also feature an overlook platform to view Technology Park Lake.

The work is part of the first phase of the city’s plans for a multi-use trail system that will crisscross throughout the city. When complete, it will offer residents 11.5 miles of walking and bicycle trails that will connect to shops, restaurants, office parks, the Town Center and other locations throughout the city. The trail system is a long-range project that is expected to be complete in 2024.
