Natural Gas Release Scheduled for Tuesday

If you smell natural gas tomorrow, it may not be cause for worry. Atlanta Gas Light has a planned release of natural gas at the Big Creek Water Reclamation Facility set for Tuesday, April 3.

This process is associated with work being completed on Atlanta Gas Light’s Johnson Header Pipeline.

Atlanta Gas Light will be removing or “purging” gas from part of their Johnson Header Pipeline from the Powers Ferry Road area (near I-285) in Cobb County to the Willeo Road regulator station in Roswell located at the Big Creek Water Reclamation Facility.
