North Fulton Hospital Elects New Board Members from Local Communities

North Fulton Hospital recently announced its newest members to the hospital's governing board. 

Individuals elected to the board commit to a three year term. They are selected based on their overall commitment to the hospital and the communities in which they work and live. During their term, members assist administration by providing oversight of the hospital’s Performance Improvement Program, approval of medical staff members, and ensure that the hospital is meeting its overall commitment to the community.

The new members include:

• Kimberly Gauger is a local attorney who practices in Alpharetta and resides in Milton. She is an active member of the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, The Lawyers Club of Atlanta, The North Fulton Bar Association, The State Bar Association of Georgia, Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
• Joe Lockwood is the mayor of the City of Milton and has served in that position for the last ive years. Most recently he was elected as president of the North Fulton Mayors Association. Lockwood brings a wealth of knowledge regarding commercial construction to the board.
• Dr. Roy Schottenfeld is an Otolaryngologist with North Fulton Ear, Nose and Throat. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, Academy of Research in Otolaryngology and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
• Ron Wallace is the former President of UPS International. He served as the Chairman of the Governor’s commission for creation of the City of Milton and is currently on the State Senate Committee to review the charter for the City of Milton. He also serves as a director on four company boards.

Members returning to the board for another year include Dr. Phil Huff, Nancy Davis, Dr. Jim Velimesis, Nancy Diamond, Arthur Letchas, Dr. Angelo DiFelice, Dr. Garry Siegel and North Fulton Hospital CEO, Deborah Keel.
