Roswell Roots Festival Starts Jan. 27
The long-running and popular festival celebrating black history begins with a performance by the Atlanta Jazz Chorus and Quartet.

ROSWELL, GA — The city of Roswell is just days from beginning its 18th annual Roswell Roots Festival. This popular celebration, which runs concurrently with Black History Month, will feature nearly two dozen events ranging from music and art to food and poetry, the city said.
Roswell Roots: A Festival of Black History and Culture is one of the largest and most comprehensive celebrations of black history and culture in the Southeast. The 2019 installment, as in previous years, will include something for everyone. The festival also "strengthens community ties and helps celebrate Roswell’s culture both past and present," the city added.
