Roswell Seeks Members For Special Events Committee

The committee will explore how Roswell can bring in events that support economic development while maintaining current successful events.

ROSWELL, GA — The city of Roswell is seeking residents to consider joining its new Special Events Committee. This group of people will brainstorm on how Roswell can bring in events to encourage economic development and tourism while maintaining the city's support of thriving established events.

To be considered for this committee, applicants must be a Roswell resident, business owner or manager, or a city of Roswell employee and/or affiliate with the city. Approval of members will be determined by the deputy city administrator; the director of the Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department; the director of the Community Development Department; a member of Roswell Inc; and the city’s special events manager.

Committee members must be able to attend at least one meeting per month at City Hall, and be willing to work respectfully and collaboratively on behalf of the needs and interests of the Roswell community.
