State Rep. Robichaux Takes Oath, Learns Committee Assignments

State Rep. Mary Robichaux of Roswell will serve on the Human Relations & Aging, Small Business and Special Rules committees.

ROSWELL, GA — Roswell's newly elected state legislator was sworn into office last week as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives. State Rep. Mary Robichaux took her oath of office on Jan. 14, which marked the first day of her two-year term in the Georgia General Assembly.

The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments also named Rep. Robichaux to the Human Relations & Aging, Small Business and Special Rules committees.

“I am honored to be representing the citizens of the 48th District on these distinguished committees,” said Rep. Robichaux. “Roswell’s small businesses and aging population are a priority of mine, and I look forward to voicing my concerns this session.”

The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker David Ralston, is charged with making all committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.
