YMSL Centennial's Ultimate Gift Program

Makes Significant Impact at Meals By Grace

Cumming, Ga, October 22, 2024 – The Centennial Chapter of Young Men’s Service League (YMSL) has once again demonstrated their commitment to community service through their annual Ultimate Gift program. This year, the chapter focused their efforts on supporting Meals By Grace, a local philanthropy dedicated to feeding hungry children and their families.

As part of the Ultimate Gift project, YMSL Centennial Chapter participants from Roswell, Johns Creek, and Alpharetta dedicated 242 volunteer hours to Meals By Grace. Their contributions included sorting donations, stocking shelves, making laundry detergent, purchasing, packaging, and donating 100 hygiene kits, as well as packing and delivering food items and warm coats to 78 vulnerable families in the community.

Meals By Grace provides a no-cost meal program that focuses on feeding hungry children and their families, aiming to bring food, hope, and transformation to the community, by the community. The cost of healthy food can be more than what a family can afford and is often considered a luxury. Items like fresh produce and meat are frequently perceived as unaffordable for families struggling to provide food for their tables while also paying for housing, clothes, healthcare, and other necessities.
