  • Cultivate old Roswell into a more energetic area. Everything seems to stop after the 2nd block. Great potential that is poorly executed. - Harvey Ruttenberg
  • Yes on many fronts, local merchants benefit from their spending and builders from possible new home buyers. - Doug Fallon
  • Yes - Janet
  • Yes
  • Very slightly; best to advertise the dining and shopping to locals.
  • Tourism brings in lots of revenue.

Are there established areas that could use additional marketing or new ideas that could enhance what the city already has to offer tourists?

  • Canton Street in old Roswell - Harvey Ruttenberg
  • Continue to encourage food establishments in both "squares." - Doug Fallon
  • Yes
  • While Canton Street has a 25 mph speed, the southern end of the historic district by the visitors center, and does not. Visitors are clueless to the dangers of Atlanta metro streets and Atlanta Street is just such an example.
  • Roswell Square
  • The Square, the mill area
  • Plum Street; make it a kid/family zone.
  • The blighted areas need to be eliminated. I can't believe that there are zoning ordinances that will not allow the restaurants on Canton Street to have sidewalk seating, but there are no zoning ordinances that govern the amount of used cars you can park in a parking [lot]. I am referring to the large amount of junk auto dealers on Highway 9. Looks to me like the city council needs to get their priorities straight.
  • Yes; the Historic Square - Janet
