  1. A video has been released of an incident at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport where a Delta worker guiding a plane on the tarmac was hit by a truck on Dec. 10. The employee was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The worker was identified as Camdyn Davis, whose mother said she has a long road to recovery. (WSB Atlanta)
  2. Two open houses will be held in the Sandy Springs area on Sunday, Dec. 18. A $4.245 million home with five beds and seven baths located at 41 Carlton Drive Northeast in Atlanta will be available to view at 1:00 p.m. The second open house will be located at 6617 Cadence Boulevard in Sandy Springs, which will be open at 2:00 p.m. (Sandy Springs Patch)
  3. Two transgender state employees are suing the state of Georgia after they say they were discriminated against by being denied health care benefits. Micah Rich, one of the plaintiffs, said, "Because I am transgender, I have been denied medical treatments that my doctors and I have agreed together that are necessary.” A third state employee joined the lawsuit as well, saying she was denied medical benefits for her transgender son.   • From Friday, Dec. 16, through Sunday, Dec. 18, one lane will be available on Roswell Road while the other is closed for paving. This will occur from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. – weather permitting. (Sandy Springs, Georgia: City News via Facebook)
  • Lenox Square shoppers now have the opportunity to participate in a holiday clothing and shoe drive benefiting patients at the Shepherd Center in nearby Atlanta. Donations will be accepted through Jan. 31, 2023, at the Mall Management Office at Lenox Square. (Reporter Newspapers)
