Bishop's Ordination Moved to King Chapel at Morehouse

The new Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta serves on the board of trustees for Holy Innocents' Episcopal School in Sandy Springs.

 

Rev. Robert C. Wright, who was recently named the new Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta, is set to be ordained in October at the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel on the campus of Morehouse College.

Wright serves on the board of trustees for Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School in Sandy Springs. He is 10th Bishop elected and has served as rector of St. Paul’s Church in Atlanta since 2002. He succeeds Bishop J. Neil Alexander.

Because a large crowd is expected for the ordination, it was moved from the Cathedral of St. Philip.
