Here are the top three stories today in Sandy Springs:

  1. The Carter Center will be monitoring tomorrow's General Election in Fulton County. The organization held an election monitor training at its location in Atlanta on Saturday. Since 1989, the organization has monitored 113 elections in 39 countries. The Carter Center was cofounded by former President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn Carter in 1982. (Fox 5 Atlanta)

  3. The City of Sandy Springs will be hosting its City Springs Master Plan Public Meeting today at 6:00 p.m. The meeting was originally scheduled for Monday, Oct. 24 but had to be rescheduled. The new meeting will be held at Sandy Springs City Hall on Galambos Way. (City of Sandy Springs)
