The City of Sandy Springs and Keep Sandy Springs Beautiful will host an Appliance and Metal Items Recycling Day from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, July 20, at the Sandy Springs Recycling Center, 470 Morgan Falls Road.
Items that will be accepted (in any condition) are:
- Appliances: Refrigerators, Washers, Dryers, dishwashers, microwaves
- Bicycles
- Metal items such as grills, furniture, etc.
- Lawn mowers (fluids must be removed)
- Outdoor metal furniture
- File cabinets, metal shelves
- Light fixtures
- Exercise equipment
- Tools, aluminum siding, metal fencing, metal stakes
- Any large or small metal item (steel, aluminum, brass, copper, iron, etc.) can be recycled or reused
