Here are the top three stories today in Sandy Springs:

1. The Sandy Springs Police collected 160 pounds of unused or unwanted medications this weekend. The collection was part of the Drug Enforcement Administration's Drug Take Back Day. The collected medications will now be turned over to the DEA for proper disposal. (Sandy Springs Police Department)
2. Friday, Nov. 4 is the last day to vote early in Fulton County. The midterm election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Fulton County will be hosting a four-day initiative to remind county voters to cast their ballot. Voters will only be allowed to cast a ballot at their assigned polling location. 3. The Chastain Park Fall Arts Festival will be held in Fulton County's largest greenspace. The two-day fine-arts festival is scheduled for this weekend. There will be nearly 200 booths, artists, a DJ, a children's play area, and various food options for participants to enjoy. The festival is free to attend and open to the public. (Saporta Report)
