  1. Fulton County Chairman Robb Pitts says the violence occurring at the overcrowded Fulton County Jail will soon be on the hands of the Atlanta City Council. Pitts was referring to the council slowing the transfer of inmates from the jail to another location downtown to help ease the overcrowding – and violence – issues. A proposed 700 inmates could move to the almost empty jail, but some council members want to see jail data before approving the transfer. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  2. A man was shot at a metro Atlanta laundromat on Saturday evening. The suspect of the shooting at Huebsch Laundry on Oak Street is a woman who was wearing black pants and a black and red hooded sweatshirt. The victim was transported to the hospital. As of Sunday evening, the investigation was ongoing. (WSB Atlanta)
  3. A metro Atlanta woman is dead after being hit by a car and left in the roadway. The hit and run occurred Saturday evening in DeKalb County on Gresham Road and I-20. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact the DeKalb County Police Department. (WSB Atlanta)
