Monday Essentials: The Week Ahead in Sandy Springs

Financial Literacy Course. REAL Money, REAL Life is a four-day program that will educate high school juniors, seniors, and young college students about being financially independent and responsible as they become adults. 10 a.m., Monday, 1200 Ashwood Parkway.  

Introduction to Backcountry Cooking Class. REI Outdoor School instructors teach how to build a camp kitchen, design a menu and prepare tasty, nutritious meals. 4 p.m., Thursday at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, on Island Ford Parkway.

Toastmasters Weekly Meeting. Northwest Perimeter Toastmasters meets at noon, Wednesdays, at One Concourse Parkway, Suite 140. Attendees network personally and professionally while developing communication and leadership skills.
