But among the wonderful tributes to writer and filmmaker, Nora Ephron, who died Tuesday from leukemia, was a TV clip from a 2006 interview with Charlie Rose.

I’ve absolutely been thinking about the importance of eating bread,” she said. “We’re all trying so hard to be healthy and thin in an era where there is the greatest bread in the world.
“We have never had bread like this in America or anywhere else. In New York, in LA today, you can get bread that’s as good as the bread in Paris. We should not avoid it because we might not die of too much bread.”
She added, “Seize the day, all that stuff.”
Amen, Nora.
