Riverwood Students Win at State Leadership Conference
Nine students went to the FBLA Conference to participate in workshops and competitions with other students from across the state.

From Riverwood ICS: Riverwood International Charter School recently sent nine students to the 2017 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference at the Classic Center in Athens. Workshops and competitions with other outstanding high school students from across the state took place non-stop during the March 12-14 event.
Congratulations to the two Raiders, Luca Maddelini and Chandler McCleskey, who qualified to advance to the National FBLA Conference this summer in Anaheim, California. Maddeleni won 1st place in the Introduction to Information Technology division; McCleskey won 4th place in the Public Speaking competition. Paula Chesser and Michele Finley are the FBLA chapter advisors.

Future Business Leaders of America is the largest career student organization in the world. Each year, FBLA helps over 230,000 members prepare for careers in business.
