29 GA Bed And Breakfasts Named Among Best In America, New Ranking Says

GEORGIA— A new report Tuesday named 29 Georgia bed-and-breakfasts among the best in the country.

In its 2025 Best Bed & Breakfasts, U.S. News & World Report looked at more than 350 bed-and-breakfasts, inns and hotels across 17 cities and small towns. The rankings were based on U.S. News user research showing which accommodations would be of particular interest to travelers.

Here are the 18 Georgia bed-and-breakfasts that earned the gold standard:

1. Kehoe House: 123 Habersham St., Savannah
2. The Gastonian: 220 E. Gaston St., Savannah
3. Hamilton-Turner Inn: 330 Abercorn St., Savannah
4. Eliza Thompson House, Historic Inns of Savannah Collection: 5 W. Jones St., Savannah
5. Bellwether House: 211 E. Gaston St., Savannah
6. McMillan Inn: 304 E. Huntingdon St., Savannah
7. The Inn on West Liberty: 109 W. Liberty St., Savannah
8. Green Palm Inn: 548 E. President St., Savannah
9. Azalea Inn and Villas: 217 E. Huntingdon St., Savannah
10. Presidents' Quarters Inn: 225 E. President St., Savannah
11. Justine Inn Savannah: 217 E. Gaston St., Savannah
12. Olde Harbour Inn: 508 E. Factors Walk, Savannah
13. River Street Inn: 124 E. Bay St., Savannah
14. Printmaker's Inn at Forsyth Park: 303 W. Gwinnett St., Savannah
15. Galloway House Inn: 107 E. 35th St., Savannah
16. Amethyst Garden: 402 E. Gaston St., Savannah
17. The House On Taylor: 128 E. Taylor St., Savannah
18. Catherine Ward House Inn: 118 E. Waldburg St., Savannah

Eleven other bed-and-breakfasts in Savannah secured a spot on the national list.

“Bed-and-breakfasts offer local immersion, providing travelers with the personal connection they often crave,” Zach Watson, senior travel editor at U.S. News, said in a news release. “The 2025 Best Bed & Breakfasts rankings celebrate local establishments where hosts are unofficial guides, breakfast conversations reveal hidden gems and top properties play a part in each community’s story.”

The cities represented in the rankings also include Asheville, North Carolina; Bar Harbor, Maine; Boston; Burlington, Vermont; Cape May, New Jersey; Charlestown, South Carolina; Charlottesville, Virginia; Fredericksburg, Texas; Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; Key West, Florida; Lancaster, Pennsylvania; New Orleans; Newport, Rhode Island; Portland, Maine; Salem, Massachusetts; and St. Augustine, Florida.
