• Woman Attacked With Acid At GA Park, FBI Offers $5K Reward For Info (patch.com) — Savannah residents are being urged to help identify a man who doused 46-year-old Ashley Wasielewski with acid while she walked in Forsyth Park on Dec. 10, leaving her with severe burns over about half her body. The FBI’s Atlanta office is offering a $5,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest, and authorities are asking anyone with photos, video, or information from the park that night to contact the FBI or Savannah Police.
   

• United Way Announces 2026 Woman of the Year Honoree Swann Seiler (savannahceo.com) — United Way of the Coastal Empire will honor longtime Savannah civic leader Swann Seiler as its 2026 Woman of the Year at a March 4 luncheon at the Savannah Convention Center. The Women Who Rule event will raise transportation funds for local women and caregivers, spotlight Seiler’s decades of service to Savannah organizations, and feature a panel of regional female leaders.
   

• Kabela family makes additional $1.2 Million donation to Savannah State (wtoc.com) — Savannah State University is receiving an additional $1.2 million from Frank and Patricia Kabela to expand a scholarship endowment that helps students stay enrolled and graduate. Building on their earlier $1 million gift, the strengthened Kabela Family Endowment will ease financial barriers for qualified students and support future Savannah-area leaders for generations.
