- The changes to Forsyth Park have been finalized by the Trustees' Garden Club. The final version of the master plan has been turned over the City of Savannah. The changes will happen over decades but park visitors will likely see a change in lighting very soon if the city has it in the budget. (WTOC)
- The Chatham County Health Department has issued a beach water advisory for Tybee Island's Strand Beach. The advisory only covers the area between 11th Street and 18th Street. The level of enterococcus bacteria is above the EPA's recommended standards. The source of the extra bacteria has not been located. (fox28media.com)
- Voter turnout was below average for the state's primary runoff election in Chatham County. The county's Board of Elections Office reports that the low turnout is expected since it was a runoff. The county had a shortage of about 200 poll workers - a quarter of the usual amount. Click for runoff election results. (WTOC)

- The Savannah Ballet will be dancing with an unlikely organization - the Savannah Bananas. Six of the ballet's dancers will be dancing in the Bananas competition. (Savannah Ballet via Instagram)
- The 4th of July 2022 Celebration will be at Tybee Island pier at 9:00 p.m. on Jul. 4. Everyone is invited to this free firework display. Mark your calendar! (Visit Savannah)
- The Savannah VOICE Festival will begin on Aug. 7 at the Jewish Educational Alliance. Admission starts at $38. (Visit Savannah)
