- The Port of Savannah is currently experiencing a traffic jam. The average wait time for a ship to unload in the port is 8 days. The traffic jam is so large that it can be seen from Hilton Head. There are currently more than 40 ships waiting to unload at the port. The ships are from various countries such as Singapore, Portugal, and Liberia. (Hilton Head Island Packet)
- The Savannah Police Department is searching for a missing teenage girl and her toddler daughter. Za'Nayah Wells, 16, and Skylar Wells, 2, went missing from the 1000 block of E. Gwinnett Street on Tuesday afternoon. Anyone with information on the missing individuals is asked to contact the department immediately. (WJCL News Savannah)
- The Savannah City Council is considering the city's millage rate. The current proposal would increase property taxes for residents. It is unclear how the city would use the new funds. There is a proposal to spend the new funds on a pay increase for the city's first responders. (WTOC)
