  1. A $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest of a suspect in a postal carrier robbery case that occurred in Chatham County. According to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, a carrier was robbed at the Chatham County Apartment on Augusta Road on Jul. 18. The suspect has been described to investigators as a 5-foot 7-inch tall Black man wearing a black shirt, black jogging pants, and a black bucket hat. Anyone with information is asked to contact the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. (WJCL News Savannah)
  2. The City of Savannah is assessing the city's stormwater management plan. The assessment is the result of the heavy rainfall that occurred earlier this month. The city has multiple active stormwater management projects. City officials reassure residents that they are addressing the issues - it will just take some time. (WTOC)
  3. The Savannah City Council has adopted a new millage rate. According to the council, the new rate is the lowest it has been since 1987. The millage rate will be 12.2. The rate was approved through a 6 to 3 vote on Thursday night. The individuals that voted against the rate wanted it further reduced. (Fox 28 Media)
