GA Toddler Quinton Simon Remembered As 'Happy, Fun And Loving'
The remains of the Savannah toddler were found in a Waste Management Superior landfill weeks after he was reported missing in mid-October.
SAVANNAH, GA — Quinton Simon, a Savannah toddler whose remains were found Nov. 18 in a landfill, "gave everyone love," according to his obituary.
The 20-month-old boy's death date is listed as Oct. 5 in his obituary.
According to Chatham County Police, Quinton went missing Oct. 5 from his Buckhalter Road home, sparking a weekslong search.

"He enjoyed chasing his brother and copying everything that his brother did. He was a bright, happy, fun, smart, loving, little monkey," read his obituary.
Quinton was born in Hinesville to Leilani Simon and Henry Moss Jr., according to his obit. He was one of three children.

The toddler had a knack for saying "thank you," even when he would do something for someone else, according to the obituary.
Quinton enjoyed dancing and hugging people's legs, the obituary says.
"Every time he did something he was proud of, he would come to whoever was close by and ask for (a) “boom," which was a little fist bump," read his obituary.
Thomas C. Strickland and Sons Funeral Homes are handling Quinton's arrangements, which are currently pending.
