  1. Police officers from Cobb County responded to a Stop & Shop store following an alarm activation. Upon arrival, they encountered a man near the entrance who quickly retreated back inside, while another man was observed climbing into the store's ceiling. A tense standoff with SWAT lasted several hours before both individuals eventually surrendered to the police by 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  2. Metro-area based Delta Airlines is planning to hire more than 4,000 new flight attendants according to Managing Director of IFS CX, Learning and Hiring, Jennifer Martin. Per Delta, "if you have a passion for people, adventure, and creating memories, this could be the right job for you. Applicants must have a high school diploma, GED or high school equivalency, the ability to work in the U.S., be able to speak, read, and write English fluently, and be at least 21 years old at the time of the application's submission.   3. Two possible suspects from Smyrna, Dayton Owen and Drysten Owen, have been arrested in connection with the fatal assault of a 19-year-old Marietta man, Caleb Demond Thomas. The arrests were made without incident near their home in Smyrna, with Dayton Owen held at the Bartow County Sheriff's Office Adult Detention Center and Drysten Owen held in a youth detention center.
