Braves, Panasonic Partner on SunTrust Park
The deal for the Braves' new SunTrust Park includes a state-of-the-art LED scoreboard provided by Panasonic, according to a report.

SMYRNA-VININGS, GA -- The Atlanta Braves and Panasonic are joining forces to enhance the ambiance of the team’s new SunTrust Park and its surrounding retail development, according to a report.
The deal between the two entities will see Panasonic provide state-of-the-art LED technologies to the stadium and The Battery, the development being built next to the Cobb County ballpark.
Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that part of the deal will see Panasonic install a giant LED scoreboard at the stadium and provide smaller ribbon boards throughout the facings of the upper decks. Panasonic will also be responsible for installing security monitoring systems.

The Battery, unveiled in October, will contain 90,000 sq. ft. of restaurant space, 350,000 sq. ft. of retail space, 550 apartments, and plenty of parking for everyone. The first restaurant tenants were revealed in October as Superica, Cru Food and Wine Bar, The Tomahawk Taproom, Antico Pizza, and a high-end steakhouse concept that hasn’t been named yet.
SunTrust Park should be ready in time to host the Braves on Opening Day 2017.
