Care Packages Damaged, Destroyed, Woman Claims

A Smyrna woman wants answers after she says items meant for a soldier overseas came back to her damaged or destroyed.

SMYRNA, GA -- A Smyrna woman is dismayed after she care packages meant for a K9 soldier overseas and his handler came back to her damaged or disappeared without making it to their intended destination, according to a report.

Joann Schwartz of the Smyrna Bark and Lounge told WSB-TV the packages were dropped off by customers who wanted to send goodies to one particular furry soldier and his handler serving in Qatar.

Unfortunately, Schwartz said, some of the packages came back to Smyrna torn to shreds, and others have gone completely missing.
