- Cobb County Police shot two people after chasing them through two counties Tuesday night. Police responded to a report of an armed man and woman in a vehicle after a caller said they attempted to take his daughter from their home. When officers spotted the vehicle they tried to make a stop but the suspects refused to stop forcing police to use a PIT maneuver to spin the car out. When officers approached the vehicle the driver began to reach under the seat and that's when officers shot both the passenger and driver. (Fox News)
- A bookstore in Cobb County is launching an event for a mom novel. Jeniffer Goldin, author of "Anonymous Mom Posts," will be at Bookmiser bookstore in East Cobb on Saturday to launch her new book. There will be mimosas and treats at the launch event and registration for the event is required. (East Cobb News)
- Two women have been arrested for stealing mail from several apartment complexes in Cobb County. Hayley Haines and Candice Johnson stole nearly 100 pieces of mail, including financial documents and social security information. One victim who hadn't checked their mail in a while went to look in their box only to find nothing was there when they were expecting wedding invitations. The two women have since been arrested on felony charges. (WSBTV)
