- The Chabad of Cobb Synagogue, previously targeted by Nazi protesters, is countering the hatred by distributing free mezuzahs. Rabbi Ephraim Silverman emphasized the protest aimed to divide but instead brought the community closer together, with overwhelming support shown through letters and donations. In particular, the Marietta-based synagogue received a generous donation of 100 mezuzahs — a significant symbol for the Jewish community — valued at $10,000. (11Alive.com WXIA)
- An Enterprise Rent-A-Car employee was fired after allegedly stealing personal information from a customer in Cobb County. While entering rental car details, employee Torenzo Richardson is said to have illegally obtained the victim's information and subsequently attempted to make online purchases. The investigation is ongoing, and Cobb County authorities are concerned about the potential widespread impact. (WSB Atlanta)

- Cobb County Animal Services is alerting the public to a "missing pets" scam. According to the department, bad actors have been pretending to find lost pets and reaping significant financial rewards. (11Alive.com WXIA)
- In the month of June, nearly 100,000 Georgia residents lost their Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids coverage. Approximately 57,000 more are still pending redetermination of eligibility and will maintain their coverage in the interim. (WSB Atlanta)
