Cobb Teacher Arrested, Accused Of Inappropriate Conduct
Smyrna police arrested Dominique Donte Evans, a drama teacher at Campbell High School, on Tuesday.
SMYRNA, GA — Police have arrested a high school drama teacher on charges of inappropriate conduct with a student. On Tuesday, Dominique Donte Evans was charged with solicitation of sodomy and obscene telephone calls to a minor, both misdemeanors. Evans is a drama teacher at Campbell High School in Smyrna.
Police started an investigation into Evans after receiving a complaint of inappropriate behavior with a student from a concerned adult.
Evans, according to the Cobb County school district, has been placed on administrative leave.
