The Atlanta Braves are hosting tryouts this week for 'the most exciting drumline in the Southeast.'

SMYRNA, GA -- If you've seen the movie "Drumline" you know that there's no better way to pump up a crowd than to hit the sticks in unison at various events.
The Atlanta Braves are hosting auditions this week for the Heavy Hitters, the team's drumline.
The tryouts will be held Thursday and Friday at 5:30 p.m. at the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, the team announced on its website. Members will be notified whether they made the cut on Saturday.
The Heavy Hitters are billed as "the most exciting drumline in the Southeast" so you can expect to see plenty of action during home games at SunTrust Park. Successful applicants will also be called on to perform at various functions around metro Atlanta throughout the year.
