VININGS, GA — Dunkin' is reopening its Powers Ferry location Friday, after the eatery was just remodeled with the franchise's newest Next Generation design — and guests who come in within a certain time frame will get free coffee.
At 10 a.m. Friday, the franchisee group will host a ribbon cutting with community members to celebrate the opening. The 1,500-square-foot restaurant features a unique enclosed patio and is open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Guests who visit the Powers Ferry storefront — located at 2022 Powers Ferry Road, Suite 100 in the Cumberland area — between 10 a.m. and noon Friday will get a free medium hot or iced coffee.

Innovative technologies are part of the Next Gen design, including:
- A front-facing bakery case for an even closer look at Dunkin's baked goods.
- A dedicated mobile order pick-up area so guests who order ahead via the Dunkin’ App can get in and out of the restaurant faster. Guests can track the status of their mobile order placed for in-store pick-up via a digital order status board.
- An innovative tap system, serving a variety of consistently cold sips, such as iced coffee, iced tea, Cold Brew, and Nitro-Infused Cold Brew (a Next Gen exclusive). Crew members also use top-quality, flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make handcrafted drinks to order.
After the ribbon cutting, the franchisee group and Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation will host a check presentation to donate $1,000 to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
