Just One Cobb County Restaurant Got Below B On Health Inspection

COBB COUNTY, GA — Take a look at the latest Cobb County restaurant inspection scores from the past week, including Moe's Southwest Grill, Canoe Restaurant, Sparkles of Smyrna, J. Christopher's, Dairy Queen and tons more.

A total of 74 Cobb County restaurants and food-service operations were inspected since Nov. 4 — the last time Patch posted a restaurant score roundup for Cobb County — in Acworth, Atlanta, Austell, East Cobb, Kennesaw, Mableton, Marietta and Smyrna.

Of the 74 restaurants, 51 received grades of A and 22 of them received grades of B. One received a C: a Jersey Mike's location on Powers Ferry Road. None received a "U" for unacceptable.

Each item on an inspection form has a point value ranging from 1 to 9 points, with violations deducting points from the best possible score of 100. Higher points are taken for items with higher risk to cause illness, while repeat violations take even more points.

Letter grades assigned are A for totals of 100 to 90 points, B for 89 to 80, C for 79 to 70 and U for less than 70.
