March Madness Author Tournament at the Smyrna Library

In the spirit of the NCAA basketball tournament that officially tipped off on Tuesday, the Smyrna Public Library has offered up its own version of March Madness with its “March Madness Tournament of Authors.”

Voting will take place at the Library itself or on the Library’s Facebook Page, as authors who wrote books in the same genre will be paired against each other. Whoever receives the most votes will advance.

Tuesday’s brackets were "Teen Dystopia: Veronica Roth vs. Suzanne Collins" and "Comic Satire: Christopher Buckley vs. Carl Hiaasen."

You can join the fun by voting for your favorite authors and filling out a pinboard bracket. The ultimate winner of the tournament will receive a special display in the Library and be featured on the Library’s Pinterest page.
