Minors Charged With Cobb Murder
Police believe the victim was carjacked and robbed at gunpoint on Sunday morning.

SMYRNA-VININGS, GA -- Two Atlanta teens were arrested and charged with murder in connection with the Sunday killing of a man in Austell, Cobb County police said Monday morning.
Franklin C. Callens, 27, was found shot to death inside a parking lot at the Concepts 21 apartment complex at 300 Six Flags Drive, according to police. Detectives believe Callens was carjacked, robbed at gunpoint, and then killed.
Cobb County and Douglasville police worked the case together and arrested four Atlanta residents, including three juveniles, in connection with the incident.

Two male juveniles, aged 15 and 16, face charges of murder, aggravated assault, and hijacking a motor vehicle, police said. A female juvenile and Chynetria Canty, 18, were arrested and charged with giving false statements to police.
