Smyrna Man Left Home After Argument With Wife, And Hasn't Been Seen Since: Police

Lorenzo Walker left home Monday and has not returned. He is known to try to hitchhike to Midway and has minor memory issues, police say.

SMYRNA, GA — Smyrna police are looking for a man who they say voluntarily left home Monday and hasn't been seen since.

Lorenzo Walker left his home after an argument with his wife about moving to metro Atlanta, and his wife alerted law enforcement about seven hours later, Smyrna Police Department officials said.

Investigators say he has an extensive history of becoming upset and leaving home without telling anyone where he's going. He's known to hitchhike in an effort to get back to an address on Oglethorpe Highway in Midway.

Walker has minor memory issues, but is not diagnosed with dementia or any other medical issues. He's not on any medication at this time. He is in possession of a TracFone with no minutes.

"At this time, Mr. Walker is not considered a critical missing person, however, his family is concerned about his whereabouts and SPD would like to reconnect him with his family," SPD said on Facebook.
