Mizuno, Braves Announce Long-Term Partnership

Mizuno will open its first brand Experience Center in U.S. at The Battery Atlanta.

ATLANTA, GA — The Atlanta Braves, who are moving to Smyrna in 2017, and Mizuno have announced a long-term partnership that will include the opening of a one-of-a-kind Mizuno Experience Center in The Battery Atlanta. The agreement makes Mizuno the Official Baseball Gear Partner of the Atlanta Braves.

Mizuno will also be showcasing multiple first-of-its-kind baseball glove kiosks inside SunTrust Park where fans can use the baseball gloves to catch foul balls during the game. Fans will be able to return the gloves at no cost or purchase them at the end of the game.

In addition to the glove kiosks, Mizuno also will have a significant presence throughout SunTrust Park and The Battery Atlanta, including signage and branding located around the park and Mizuno baseball and softball equipment used in the Kid's Zone and other areas.

The Braves will play their first regular season game in the new SunTrust Park on April 14, 2017. A four-game series against the San Diego Padres kicks off the season, following a three-game series against the Washington Nationals.
Starting times for the games have not been determined, but the Braves announced earlier this year that it is moving the starting times for Braves home games at SunTrust Park back to 7:30, instead of the usual 7:05.
