Here are the top three stories today in Smyrna-Vinings:
- This holiday season, the Festival of Trees is coming to Cobb County. The display will be on view free of charge to the public at the Town Center at Cobb. Each tree will represent a local nonprofit. Attendees can learn how to show their support through volunteerism, monetary donations, and donations of needed items. (Cobb County Courier)
- Cobb County will be hosting several blood drives in the near future. The American Red Cross is experiencing its worst blood shortage in over a decade. Consider donating at one of the upcoming blood drives if you are able to. (Subscription: MDJOnline.com)
- A new portrait has been unveiled as colleagues honor Cobb County's Judge Brantley. Former Congressman Bubby Darden spoke at the unveiling, praising Brantley for his history of service.
