"We're excited to open our doors soon to the Atlanta community," said Gonzalo Ulivi, managing partner of Silverspot Cinema. "As we prepare to join the entertainment offerings at The Battery Atlanta, we look forward to providing guests a truly unique experience that enhances their favorite cinematic screenings with our first-class offerings."
Featuring Dolby Cinema Sound, the theater will offer traditional Hollywood productions, as well as handpicked selections of independent films, operas and ballets, concerts and a variety of special in-house cultural events. The theater will also serve as a venue for event offerings such as social celebrations and corporate events.
Opening plans include a wide range of new health and safety measures based on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local government guidelines. Dynamic Seating will be implemented upon opening in May, which creates an automatic block of two seats to the left and two seats to the right of the selected seats. This allows for over seven feet of distance between parties, the release said.
