Smyrna Voter Guide 2022: Deadline, Candidates, How To Vote
Smyrna will vote May 24 for County Commissioners, Board of Education, State Court Judge, and more.
SMYRNA, GA — The May 24 election is quickly approaching in Smyrna, and voters have already begun submitting absentee ballots through early voting locations, mail and drop boxes.
Ballots for Cobb County voters will include county commissioners in districts 1 and 3; school board members in districts 2, 4 and 6; solicitor general; superior court judge; state court judges; state Senate districts; state House districts; and U.S. House of Representatives districts 3 and 13.
There will also be cityhood questions for the proposed cities of East Cobb, Lost Mountain and Vinings, depending on where you live.

The ballots will also include statewide elections, such as governor, secretary of state, attorney general, agriculture commissioner, insurance commissioner, state school superintendent and labor commissioner.

Election Day
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, May 24. If you are in line by 7 p.m., you are allowed to cast your ballot.
On Election Day, you must vote at your designated polling place. You can find your assigned polling location on your voter registration card, by logging into the Secretary of State's My Voter Page, or by contacting your County Board of Registrar's Office.
When you get to your polling place, show your photo ID to the poll worker. A poll worker will check your photo ID, verify that you are registered and at the correct polling location, issue you a voter access card or ballot, whichever is applicable, and allow you to vote.
