Team says game on Saturday, April 15 still has 'limited' availability.

SMYRNA, GA -- Atlanta Braves single-game tickets for the home opener went on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday -- and they sold out.

The Braves said fans hoping to experience the grandeur of their new stadium, SunTrust Park, will have to make plans to attend the next day's game.

"A limited number of single tickets remain for Saturday, April 15," the squad said. The Braves will play their first home game at SunTrust Park on Friday, April 14 against the San Diego Padres.

Pre-sale tickets went on sale Thursday, but there was a technical hiccup that caused many people not to be able to buy the tickets. The Braves attributed the error to a "Ticketmaster glitch." Fans went on the team's Facebook page to complain.

Single-game tickets are priced anywhere from $5 to $143 or higher depending on demand, the Braves said.

The Braves still have six-game packages as well as full and partial-season tickets for sale.

Friday marked the first day single-game parking became available as well. The team, along with Cobb County officials, said that traffic in and out of the stadium will not be a problem.

The Braves are pulling out all the (short)stops for opening weekend, which will include pre- and postgame concerts in the plaza, along with ceremonies and jet flyovers.
