Work Continues on The Corner Taqueria
No word yet on when the taqueria concept will open.

There’s plenty of buzz surrounding The Corner Taqueria and when it will open. The owners of and are developing the new taqueria concept in the restaurant space formerly home to Village Café in Smyrna's Market Village, but there's still no word on when it will open for business.
In July the city’s Urban Design Commission discussed The Corner Taqueria’s application for changes to its patio entrance and enclosure. The unofficial minutes from the meeting show that the commission approved the owners' request to enclose the patio and install a roll-up door between the building and the patio.
Smyrna-Vinings Patch has made repeated calls to managers, but hasn't been able to pin down an opening date or further details at this posting. At Smyrna’s St. Patrick Day celebration last spring, Zucca advertised that the restaurant would be open by Cinco de Mayo.
