Smyrna City Council meets Monday. with Council’s only actions being to adopt the 2012 millage rate and pass an amendment to the city’s code of ordinances for alcoholic beverages. Catch the meeting live on Charter Channel 19. Replays of Council meetings air the second and fourth Thursday of the month on Channel 23 at 7 p.m. See the TV23 section at www.cobbcounty.org for a complete rebroadcast schedule. Tuesday the Vinings Business Association meets for its monthly luncheon at . Joe Turner is this month’s speaker. The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. and costs $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Pay in advance online or with cash or check at the door.
