What's Open, Closed in Smyrna-Vinings This Christmas

SMYRNA, GA -- With Christmas right around the corner, the City of Smyrna has released pertinent information on city services that will be affected by the holiday.

City administrative offices will close on Thursday and Friday in observance of Christmas, the city says. The holiday will also change the city’s sanitation and recycling schedules.

Holiday Sanitation/Recycling Schedule:

Monday and Tuesday routes unchanged
Thursday routes picked up on Wednesday (Dec. 23)
Friday routes picked up on Thursday (Dec. 24)
No yard debris and large items picked up this week
Other Department/Facility Closings:

The Smyrna Community Center will be closed for annual maintenance from Wednesday, December 23 through Friday, January 1. The facility will resume normal operation on Saturday, January 2, 2016.

Police Records will be closed December 24 through 27, 2015 (as well as December 31, 2015 through January 3, 2016)
Police Permits will be closed December 23, 2015 through December 27, 2015 (as well as December 31, 2015 through January 3, 2016)

Monday, December 21: 10am-6pm
Tuesday, December 22: 10am-6pm
Wednesday, December 23: 10am-6pm
Thursday, December 24: CLOSED
Friday, December 25: CLOSED
