Why A Pink Police Car May Roll Up On You In Smyrna

SMRYNA, GA -- Have you seen the pink Smyrna police cruiser? It may give you pause, but it's for a good cause. The Smyrna force is involved in a Beat Breast Cancer initiative that includes a bright pink police cruiser.

The pink Beat Breast Cancer car has been in such demand that the police department has compiled an appearance schedule. See the calendar below, released by Smyrna PD.

* Fletchers Newport location postponed. The car will still be at Fletcher's Smyrna joined by radio station WDSD who wil have hot dogs, popcorn and free giveaways (9/22)
* The car will be at the Kent County Stallions at Delaware State University on 10/7, time to be determined
* Parkview RV appearance on 10/14 has been moved to 9am to 11am
* 10/9 the car will be at Pizza DiMeo in Smyrna from 11am to 1pm
* 10/22 the car will be hosted by the Painted Stave in Smyrna from 1pm to 5pm
* 10/24 the car will be hosted by Shur-Line Electrical Inc in the Smyrna Business park from 10am to 2pm
