Murder Suspect Arrested, Victim ID'ed In Deadly Gwinnett Shooting
Police say they are charging a man with murder after another man was found fatally shot in Snellville.

SNELLVILLE, GA — The man who was found fatally shot early Sunday morning in the 3800 block of Saddle Ridge Drive has been identified, and police say another man is facing murder charges in connection with his death.
Gwinnett County Police on Monday said the deadly shooting killed Abel Alejandro Unzicker, 36, of Snellville.

He was found dead with an apparent gunshot wound after officers responded around 3:15 a.m. to a person down call, police said.
They added they have arrested Derrick Devon Thomas, 30, of Snellville, on charges of felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Details were limited, and events leading to the deadly shooting were not released. Police say the incident was isolated.
