Man Shot to Death in Austell Complex ID'd

UPDATE at noon on March 7: Cobb Police have identified the man found shot to death as 20-year-old Samuel Wilkins of Austell. He is an African-American man, 5'10" with a thin build.

A man was found shot to death Tuesday night behind building J at Riverside Townhomes on Twin Hill Road.

Officers arrived at the scene at 10:28 p.m., two minutes after a call was received about the incident.

Officer Mike Bowman, spokesman for the Cobb Police Department, said he will release more information as details become available.
