Your Feedback Is Needed at Upcoming Six Flags LCI Meeting

Speak up and make your voice heard on Thursday about proposed projects for the Six Flags area.

After conducting research and compiling community feedback, the consultants of Stantec, the firm hired to complete the , has established a list of 20-plus short- and long-term projects that can provide visible or tangible results to the Six Flags area.

South Cobb residents are invited to attend the next upcoming Six Flags LCI meeting on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the to learn about the 20 projects the consultants recommend for implementation.

The projects range from a beautification project, which can be completed in the immediate future, to the construction of a hotel-conference center, which would be a longer term project, said Contente Terry, an urban planning consultant helping with the LCI study.

The 20 projects are broken down into three areas: land use, transportation and economic development.

Thursday's meeting will be an opportunity for residents to learn about the projects and to ask the consultants questions about the projects' details.
