Shooting at Zaxby's in Stone Mountain: Reports
Witness tells TV station she heard 'nine or 10 shots' Wednesday. DeKalb County police officer on the scene Wednesday afternoon.
STONE MOUNTAIN, GA -- DeKalb County police officers were on the scene at a Zaxby's restaurant Wednesday after an apparent shooting, according to news reports.
The shooting happened at the eatery on Hairston Road near Redan Road in Stone Mountain. Video posted on social media showed police cordoning off the restaurant and a nearby Pizza Hut.
"I heard about nine or 10 gunshots," a witness told WSB-TV. "As I'm walking all I see is employees with blue shirts, from Zaxby's," she said. She told the TV station the gunshots sounded like they were "outside, not inside," she said.

DeKalb police haven't released details of the shooting, but police spokesman Maj. Stephen Fore told WSB that no victim had been found.
