Carrington Academy Students Deliver Cards & Baked Goods to Seniors

Students handmade cards and baked goods for the assisted living community to raise their spirits

Students at Carrington Academy in Suwanee recently handmade more than 200 holiday cards and baked goods for Arbor Terrace of Johns Creek, a local assisted living community. Over the past month, students created cards and baked cookies and other sweet treats for the residents. Students also held a virtual holiday concert for the seniors and sang Christmas carols for them to help brighten their day.

In addition to making cards for local seniors, students held a pet supply drive for their local animal shelter, collecting bags of food, treats, toys and blankets. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season.
